Wild Olive Shoot Foundation Guidelines / Policies
PRESERVATION OF RELIGIOUS VOICE AND RIGHTS
Satilla Retreat is a facility owned and operated by the Wild Olive Shoot Foundation (WOSF).
Wild Olive Shoot Foundation (WOSF) attempts to develop and interpret all we do from a Biblical vantage point. We operate from the conviction that God has created men and women to operate in an orderly and purposeful fashion with His intent for the world. A Christian community must develop regulations as guidelines to realize its mission. This helps WOSF put into practice its basic moral and social principles.
We understand that no one individual or organization within the Christian faith has a complete understanding of all Biblical Truth. WOSF has a distinctive Biblical belief position which we feel our guests should be aware of and understand. Because WOSF is more than a place to stay, adherence to WOSF guidelines is required during your stay at any of the WOSF properties. Our desire is to see lives shaped and changed through gospel centered standards.
In addition to the standards and guidelines designed to protect the peace and enjoyment of all our guests, WOSF also imposes religious standards based on the religious faith, purpose, and mission of the WOSF. Enforcing these religious standards helps to ensure that no activities or views expressed by or through groups using our facilities interfere with the beliefs and message of WOSF. Accordingly, guests of WOSF must not engage in activities or publicly declare views contrary to these religious standards as determined by WOSF while using the WOSF facilities. We ask that groups holding differing views refrain from any actions contrary to the stated positions while at WOSF properties.
We welcome all those who will use this facility in a God-honoring way.
Additionally, in keeping with our mission and beliefs, the following help to maintain a wholesome Christ-centered environment and assure the comfort of our guests:
